Neuroscience lesson of the day!!

This is the neuron cell, it is a cell that is located all over the body which has a very specific purpose
To deliver electrical and chemical signals to the whole body!!
There are multiple areas to the neuron cell, including:

• The dendrites, the dendrites are the branches at the beginning of the neuron cell. Its purpose is to receive electrical signals!
• The axon hillock (start) and the axon terminal (end). The purpose is to transport signals throughout the cell
• The synapse, its purpose is simple! Its the area where chemical signals get released! Think of it as the..end of a train station!
