Day 6: Why?

Why do my neurons feel tight?

Why do grown ups yell?

Why do grown ups scream?

Why do grown ups love?

Why must it hurt?

Why is love loud?

Why can't it be quiet?

Why is it when love is loud

My heart beats fast

But love can be quiet

But that love is dirty

Sometimes I wish

Love didn't exist

Because loud or quiet

I bleed anyway
